Our Mission
Building Bridges Ministry is an international, non-profit relief organization with headquarters in Henrietta, Texas, that delivers food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to individuals, children and families who lack these essentials due to famine, war, poverty or natural disaster.
What We Do
During our short five years in operation we have drilled 44 water wells in Nigeria, West Africa so that many people who had never had clean water can now experience better health. We have also started building an orphanage in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria in hopes of helping save many of the slave children who are used to work in horrific conditions in granite quarries, fisheries, and cocoa fields. We have built a very large poultry house in one of the villages to help the people there learn how to produce and sell poultry as a means of bringing in income for the village. We have completed a school and are now looking for teachers who will commit to working for one year to help teach other school teachers a better way of learning.
U.S. Programs
Building Bridges Ministry took clean water to Louisiana and Mississippi one week after Katrina hit these areas.
International Outreach
Building Bridges Ministry focus’ on providing food, medical assistance, emergency relief and creating sustainable development.
Since 2000, we have provided food, clothing, medical assistance and educational opportunities to those in need in three countries around the world. Through schools, orphanages and church-related programs, Building Bridges touches the lives of thousands of children overseas every day. We also provide financial assistance to orphanages, schools and other charitable groups in these regions.
A key goal is to help needy families move past needing help and into becoming self-sufficient members of their community. Through long-term, self-help development programs, thousands of families in countries around the world have increased their ability to be self-sufficient by learning and applying new, marketable skills.
